ERP Applications Analyst – Senior

Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Monitors own assignment queues and manages personal workload while complying with ITSM policies and SLAs
  • Prioritizes support tickets within assigned module, working with the functional module lead and team lead wherever there is a question on priority.
  • Creates or reviews break fix code objects as needed
  • Conducts performance tuning using tools such as “TOAD”
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses issues using application tracing, sql/query, application designer, and online pages
  • Runs support meetings with customers
  • Performs on-call support as-needed
  • Conducts moderate to complex analysis to include problem solving and resolution suggestions
  • Differentiates system issues from security issues and coordinates servicenow ticket transfers to other teams as necessary
  • Opens and manages cases with ERP vendors including weekly follow-ups
  • Reviews and approves functional and technical documents for completeness, proactively identifies issues or potential missing requirements, provides estimates, and performs final document reviews
  • Facilitates design discussions.  Can identify and technically communicate user requirements with an emphasis on leveraging delivered functionality and system capabilities as well as ensuring system security and data integrity, while also providing solutions that are easy to maintain and support
  • Collaborates with team and business peers on new requirements and/or support issues
  • Create end-to-end test scripts for a module
  • Leads medium to large projects
  • Identifies tasks for project plans
  • Supports configuration for 2 or more modules which requires knowledge of the module as well as key interdependencies
  • Creates and maintains business integration process flows
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation, within it as well as with the shared service centers and implementation teams
  • Optimizes batch scheduler performance
  • Mentors and guides team members in troubleshooting, testing, and supporting of PeopleSoft
  • Works under little to no supervision, both independently and interdependently
  • Analyzes new tools and technologies to solve business problems
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Understanding of interdependencies between financial and supply chain systems and modules
  • Must be extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving many issues simultaneously
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose using application tracing, SQL, Application Designer, and core PeopleSoft tables
  • Advanced relational database skills
  • Advanced verbal and writing skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

  • Experience in PeopleSoft 9.x and/or PeopleTools 8.5x
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise systems
  • PeopleSoft implementation in a healthcare environment
  • Understanding of healthcare business practice
  • Understanding of the accounting and data flow between PeopleSoft FSCM modules, preferably in Healthcare, gained by working in application support of these systems
  • Knowledge of batch scheduler software like Autosys or Tidal
  • Experience with EIPs
  • Experience with file/date transfer protocols, e.g. FTP, TFTP, SFTP, etc.
  • Experience with XML, Fluid and/or Java
  • Experience with EDI transmission via VANs
  • For Finance Positions: Experience with Grants, Fund Accounting, Finance and/or Budget
  • For Supply Chain Positions: Experience with Maintenance Management
  • Project Management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Related Major
  • 5+ years ERP application experience with at least four of those years in PeopleSoft FSCM Application Implementation, Development and/or Support
  • Must have Experience with at least 3 of the following PeopleSoft Modules
    • For Finance Lead: GL, AP, AM, CM, EX, TR, GR
    • For Supply Chain Lead: PO, ePRO, INV, MM   

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    • Healthcare or IS experience with related technologies
    • Progressive management experience
    • Experience maintaining ERP systems through the full project lifecycle
    • Experience with PeopleSoft Workflow
    • Experience using PeopleTools Test Framework (PTF) or another test scripting tool
    • Experience using Phire, Stat or other migration tools
    • Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, or other development and ticket tracking systems

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

  • PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.x Certification
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • IT Service Management (ITSM)

Summary:
