You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Design and manage internal HR communication strategies for a variety of initiatives to engage and inform team members, change behavior where required, and drive alignment across all three components of the HR operating model; communication activities to include content development, visual design, execution of toolkits, emails, newsletters, articles, template creation, etc.
  • Develop and disseminate communication that considers all audiences/levels in the market to address unique needs; partnering with AHS Corporate Communications team to ensure communications are consistent and aligned with AHS practices, brand standards, and other enterprise-wide messages; and align to the company’s values and goals.
  • Manage processes to streamline operations; creating a master project plan; clarify, research, communicate, and document the requirements of requests/issues; track and manage questions, concerns, and requests to ensure timely and agreed issue resolutions and solutions, in management of positive stakeholder experiences; Identifies, tracks, and reports issues and risks to ensure appropriate resolution strategies are employed; Assists in identifying and analyzing risk mitigation tactics
  • Lead projects to strengthen the HRBP role, business model, development, leadership pipeline and network; creating and managing the system for collecting, organizing, and analyzing information about HRBPs; Manage strategy process and activities for HR leadership to include orientation and onboarding, organizational design, competency assessments and development plans, talent reviews and succession management, collaborating with CoE team for support in appropriate areas; Manage HR Residents and HR Interns as applicable
  • Collaborate with leaders to align HR objectives, brainstorm creative solutions, and develop and execute communication and change management plans using a wide range of communication channels (webcasts, face-to-face, video, online, print, etc.) to engage and inform appropriate audiences; managing HRBP Group SharePoint sites to increase engagement
  • Measure effectiveness of communication activities and use feedback to improve future efforts; feedback mechanisms to include interviews, survey creation and analysis, focus group, lessons learned meetings, etc.
  • Create and manage meeting calendar including distribution lists to ensure appropriate governance structures and cadenced touchpoints; partnering with Administrative Assistants for scheduling and logistics. 
  • Manage multiple high-level projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines, carrying a significant writing workload and guiding the work of others who may be assisting.
  • Manage key HR documents and collaterals including presentations, HRBP orientation and onboarding documents, org charts, templates, strategic briefs and more to ensure they are in line with HR standard and revised as information changes.  
  • Serve as an operating model advocate, helping ensure all HR function perspectives are incorporated into new processes, policies, and transactions; Manage preparation for HR Summit and other HR connection meetings as applicable
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by Sr. Manager; Shows flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity and varying priorities
  • Recommend actions and exercises discretion regarding key business processes; Shows initiative and acts independently to resolve problems, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on projects/tasks to completion
  • Event and meeting management support for key meetings such as HR webinar, leadership sessions, town halls, HR Summit, and more 

What You Will Need:

  • 4+ years of related experience in one or more of the areas of human resources, communications, project management, organizational development, training, or organizational change management
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
  • Exposure to strategic communications
  • Relationship/Stakeholder management experience
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, sHRBP or equivalent certification relations to human resources, preferred
  • Prosci or equivalent certification related to change management, preferred
  • PMP or equivalent certification related to project management, preferred

Job Summary:

The Manager of System HR and Operations is to serve as a collaborator with Center of Expertise (CoE), HR Shared Services (HRSS), Business HR and other key stakeholders to help fully enable and strengthen the HR operating model. Serves as a champion for the model and responsible for building and maintaining strong lines of communication between stakeholders. Develop processes for further deploying and strengthening HR initiatives and operating model, activities and competencies include: strategic communication, project management, building professional networks, change management, organizational design, coaching and client management, organizational development, leadership development, talent acquisition and onboarding, basic HR analytics, and performance management.  These activities include learning business operations and structures, maintaining data organization, providing analysis, identifying and resolving issues and risks.
