Each patient room is private, and the uniquely designed "clover leaf" patient care units consist of 60 beds per floor. The Emergency Department is sized to accommodate up to 60,000 visits per year.

Qualifications
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees business functions on an ongoing basis.  Business functions are defined as scheduling department meetings, keeping and posting department meeting minutes, materials procurement, data management as directed, preparing evaluations as needed.
  • Responsible for the independent management, education, and operations on an on-going basis which includes obligating the department financially to pay for goods or services. 
  • Oversees staff, coordination of time off, recruitment, new hire interviews, hiring, evaluations, staff meetings, and record(s) of council with specific area(s).
  • Supports the Director and Manager(s) on a daily basis. 
  • Completes projects as directed by the Director or Manager(s) either independently or with the assistance of other clerical staff.
  • Inventories and orders office supplies as well as oversees maintenance of office equipment.
  • Assists the Manager(s) and Director with maintaining confidential employee/patient data.
  • Utilizes databases for statistical data analysis and reporting functions.
  • Generates reports needed for the department business analysis and forwards to designated individuals. 
  • Possesses initiative and independent judgment to the department processes. 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer software required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Two (2) years college or relevant experience required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • One (1) year prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
