This position acts as a liaison between the Adventist Health System corporate office and the non-acute entities in the area of Supply Chain with a focus on ensuring best practices, contract compliance, sourcing and contracting direction. This position also leads projects in the non-acute space pertaining to standardization, Supply Chain education, analysis of non-labor expenses, and cost reduction.  

What you will be responsible for:
  • Interface with practice managers, bringing corporate and non-acute initiatives into alignment.
  • Help establish standard processes, standards, and goals, and facilitate their implementation.
  • Manage the distribution relationships with primary vendor.
  • Work with our Affiliate Program director to ensure that processes, contracts, pricing, and other touch points are in alignment for optimum value to the non-acute space.
  • Train and mentor non-acute teams regarding Corporate Supply Chain purchasing, utilization of supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Provides suggestions for improvement following analysis of operations and expenses associated with the non-acute Supply Chain.
  • Identify savings opportunities in the use and purchase of supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Lead projects from creation to completion.  Provide support and follow up on implementation activities to ensure objectives are met.  Measure progress and give feedback as needed.
  • Collaborate with iSynergy team on new location onboarding to PeopleSoft and with Supply Chain Shared Services on non-acute issues and processes.
  • Identify reporting needs and work with the analytics team to provide actionable reports/analyses that address the business need. 
What you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in Supply Chain Management in the non-acute market.
  • Minimum of three years working in a team environment where influence and expertise was used to accomplish goals.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and other inputs and turn them into actionable plans
