Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time
Monday - Friday 
9am-5pm
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Welcome patients to AdventHealth facility
  • Check-in patients to Emergency Department utilizing our Biometric Scanner
  • Obtain and verify insurance information
  • Obtain patient demographic information
  • Obtain signatures for proper hospital forms
  • Obtain Financial Assistance Forms (as appropriate)
  • Register patients for Outpatient Services (walk-ins and scheduled appointments)
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suites
  • Typing skill 40+ words a minute
  
Job Summary:
To assist patients that are coming into the ER or for Outpatient Services. Will be the front line when a patient enters the ER and help route the patient to the appropriate care area. Also, will register patients who come to the facility for Outpatient Services. Will obtain insurance information and demographics for facility to bill. Will assist patients with any non-clinical questions patients may have regarding their bill or listed insurance information.
