Job Summary:

The Employee Health & Well-being Partner (EHWP)assists the Manager and Director of Employee Health & Well-being in leading CREATION Life efforts to create “A Culture of Health and Well-being” at AdventHealth. The role partners with team members at AdventHealth and other partners (vendors) to positively impact the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health and energy of our employees and their families by using the CREATION Life philosophy and framework. The EHWP takes a lead team role in mentoring and serving as lead project manager. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor of Science in Health Science, Health Services, or health-related field

  • Three years of experience in worksite health promotion or related activities

  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to effectively mentor, coach, and train others

  • Ability to be viewed as a credible advocate for health and performance

You Will Be Responsible For:

Demonstrates, through behavior, Florida Hospital’s core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork

  1. Develops and implements campus level strategies supporting CREATION Life culture. Is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the CREATION Life efforts, both at the system and assigned campus level, including:

  • Health Champions Initiative
  • Health Risk Assessment
  • Biometric Screenings
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Call to Action programs
  • Culture Change Initiatives
  • CREATION Life Education
  1. Mentors and trains other EHWP’s in their role. Develops mentoring schedules and plans to allow for growth in skill set of other EHWP’s

  2. Serves as project management lead for the department and provides project management assistance as requested in various CREATION Life projects/initiatives.

  3. Motivates participation in CREATION Life  programs and efforts through regular interaction with colleagues, leaders, and Health Champions.

  4. Meets regularly with hospital leadership to keep them informed of data, system priorities, and all pertinent information.

  5. Teaches and facilitates various educational courses based on the principles of CREATION Life to employee workforce varying from ½ hour to a full day.

  6. Independently coordinates with partners and vendors (internal and external) to maximize delivery of information and services.

  7. Markets, promotes, and implements advertisement of the wellness program to increase employee participation including coordination, scheduling, and staffing of wellness events.

  8. Community Relations Responsibility – assists in select community events to support the FH CREATION Life initiatives in the community

  9. Actively facilitates educational courses as part of the AdventHealth Speakers Bureau.

  • Performance Improvement Responsibility - Along with Manager and Director, monitors and evaluates outcomes measures. Assists in tracking of onsite CREATION Life activities.

  • Travel required to various AdventHealth locations and Central Florida venues for events
