Home Health nursing is the perfect fit for someone who wants to spend quality one on one time caring for their patients and educating patients and families.  You will have the opportunity to see patients in their own homes and help them make changes that can have a huge impact on the quality of their lives. 

A home Health LPN primarily sees patients in a specific area of town, our excellent compensation package includes time spent in the home, documentation and drive time plus mileage paid at the federal rate.  Our home health agency prides itself on quality care of our patients and our staff. 

If you’re organized and self-motivated, Home Health is a great for LPN’s with kids in school, or those who love nursing and want to step away from 12 hour shifts inpatient care.  We can offer flexibility with shifts and minimal weekends.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Implement individualized patient care as initiated by the R.N.


What You Will Need:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of resources in the health care community
  • Knowledge of home care delivery system and eligibility requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • At least one (1) year of nursing experience in a hospital setting or community setting involving direct nursing care.
  • Current license to practice as a professional nurse in the State of Kansas and Missouri.
  • Maintain CPR certification
  • Valid Drivers license

Job Summary:

This position is accountable for providing professional nursing activities as identified and planned by the R.N. Case Manager in the Patient Care Plan to maximize function within the home restoring health or assisting a peaceful death.  The L.P.N. is supervised in the home by the R.N. as often as necessary, but at least every sixty day
